Please note: Photos that have been entered into a previous ICS photography competition will not be accepted.

After the deadline (October 31), a shortlist will presented on Facebook for a public vote. Finally judges will use the vote as a steer on the competition, but it will be up to them to make the final decision.

Don't forget to share your entry far and wide with your friends and family, so they can help it  get noticed.

The winning entries will be chosen based on the number of votes received, and which best represent the power of volunteering, the ICS programme and the category entered.

The judging will take place in November, with the winner announced at the beginning of December. The winners will be informed over the phone and by email.  The judges' decision is final and binding.

Announcing the winners

The winning entry, runners-up and other stand-out entries will be showcased in December on the VSO and ICS communication channels, and displayed as part of an exhibition at the end of the year. Winners will be notified via phone and email.

Please note: All entries may be used for future marketing campaigns and activity led by VSO and its ICS partners, and the Department for International Development (DFID).
