Join our webinar on how to tackle the coronavirus pandemic

Tuesday 28 April, 6 - 7.30pm.

We’ve been inspired by the voluntary actions people are taking in response to the pandemic, and by the stories of ongoing active citizenship shared by ICS volunteers. We wanted to create a space to share these good news stories.

What will we be talking about?

Whether you returned from ICS five months or five years ago, we welcome you to join us for our webinar on Tuesday 28 April at 6 - 7.30pm (UK time).

We'll be sharing:

  • quick and easy ways to take action right now
  • ideas for activism around the Sustainable Development Goals
  • stories from ICS volunteers involved in their community response
  • details of the support offered from the 'ICS Wraparound'

There will be opportunities for you to ask questions and share your experience.

Who is this for?

This webinar is specifically for UK volunteers. That's because we're going to be talking about volunteer opportunities and suggestions for activities designed for the context in the UK at the moment.

If you're a volunteer outside the UK, we'll be running future events. Stay tuned to the ICS Newsletter to find out more.

How do I join?

The webinar will be hosted on Zoom, a video conferencing platform. We'll send you details of how to join the day before the call.

How can I get stuck in now?

There's no time like the present. We've partnered with the British Red Cross' Community Reserve volunteer programme, as well as put together a list of seven ways you can support people local to you.
