Raise your voice to a global audience on disability and aid

On July 24, 2018, The UK Department for International Development and the Government of Kenya will jointly host the first-ever Global Disability Summit in London.

ICS will be there ensuring that young disabled people’s voices are heard.

At ICS we believe that diverse groups of people working together leads to innovation and makes a greater impact. Nothing could help us to make this point better than you - and the hundreds of other disabled ICS returned volunteers.

We hope that you are keen to take part in a range of activities around the Summit. You could be rubbing shoulders with Ministers in attendance, taking part in media interviews or engaging in a global conversations around disability and aid. Available roles on the day include delegate liaison officers and marketplace guides, or you can get involved in pre-summit workshops.

If you are a returned ICS volunteer and are interested in sharing your story to raise awareness and empower others, we’d love to hear from you. Please fill out the details in the form below, and we’ll be in touch with more information soon.

If you would rather speak with a member of staff in person, please email the ICS Inclusion Specialist at lyndsey.draper@vsoint.org with your contact details.

We will there to support you every step of the way, including the lead up to the Summit and on the day itself.
