ICS works in some of the poorest countries in the world.

You will be placed where you will have the greatest impact. You should be open-minded about where you volunteer and the partner agency you go with as you may not get your first choice.

Bangladesh

Support work to improve the quality of life for young people living in Bangladesh.

Cambodia

Work on projects supporting Cambodia's young people get a good education and earn a decent living.

Kenya

Work to help secure the right of vulnerable groups or help build sustainable businesses that enable women and young people to earn a living.

Nepal

Volunteers in Nepal work on a number of projects supporting health, employment and education initiatives.

Tanzania

Volunteers support a number of projects promoting employment, health and access to water and sanitation.

Uganda

Projects focus on supporting sexual health initiative or improving business skills for local entrepreneurs.

Zambia

In Zambia volunteers support vital work tackling HIV or work with small businesses to help people earn a decent living
